Why Inside 3D Scanning?
Numerous agencies are in a position to purchase a scanner, but then need the training of personnel. TRInvestigations can focus on their needs to utilize the technology in this capacity with a hands-on, interactive training class for members of law enforcement and other interested parties (such as our partners in the crash investigations industry!).
Courses are designed to accommodate varied training levels categorized by either "Basic" or "Advanced." Depending on the category, exercises using real 3D scanning equipment and along with class instruction, trainees will acquire knowledge working with experienced users.
3-DAY BASIC TRAINING
Cost: Varies depending on location, size of the class and other considerations
Duration: Three Days (8 hours each day)
Curriculum: Review and utilize FARO Scenes software and FARO Focus scanners to document crash and crime scenes.
Instruction: Certified Trainer/Mentor
This is a 3-day basic FARO scanner operations class with a FARO certification.
5-DAY ADVANCED TRAINING
Cost: Varies depending on location, size of the class and other considerations
Duration: Five Day (8 hours each day)
Curriculum: Review and utilize FARO Scenes software and FARO Focus scanners to document crash and crime scenes. Specially designed in-class projects, as well as options for scan deliverables, will be explored.
Instruction: Certified Trainer/Mentor
This is a 5-day class is an advanced 5-day class that will cover the software, hardware, certification, and hands-on training designed to fit the customers' needs and specialties.
CLASSES ON THE HORIZON
Classes up and coming will be FARO Zone 3D class for crime scene diagramming, crash documentation, and crash analysis for law enforcement crash investigators.
